Bang Ventures gets into the projects evaluating and helping entrepreneurs to develop strong companies from the idea inception phase. Bang Ventures is focused on the emerging Web 2.0 sector of software, web services and wireless services, as well as investments in cleantech, and medical devices.

The firm is lead by F. Mark Modzelewski, a noted technology evangelist, executive and investor. He was a founder of Leonardo BioSystems, Lux Research, New Europe Ventures among others.

Based in Cambridge, MA. --with offices in New York and Krakow, Poland-- Bang began operations in late 2006 making numerous investments and a successful acquisition. The firm concentrates on opportunities in North America and Central/Eastern Europe.
